Full Charge Bookkeeper/Accounting Office Manager
Full time, 40 hours per week

Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Full Charge Bookkeeper/Accounting Office Manager at Carnegie of Homestead in Munhall, PA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting and business tasks of the Carnegie of Homestead, including but not limited to processing vendor invoices; entering receipts and deposits; processing payroll and various personnel forms; entry of concert reconciliations and event tracking; assisting with the preparation and maintenance of financial reports and records; assist with the preparation of monthly reconciliation and reporting, annual budget, audit and 990 tax preparation; maintain gift and grant tracking; assist with room rentals; and provide assistance to the various CLoH Directors, staff, and Board of Trustees.
Qualifications
- Quickbooks and Microsoft Office experience is required
- Financial Statements, Journal Entries, and Bookkeeping skills
- Experience with Payroll Taxes and Accounting processes
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably nonprofit
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- COVID-19 vaccination is recommended for employment.

The Carnegie of Homestead is seeking to expand the current Board of Directors.
Board members help to uphold and advance the mission and vision of the Carnegie of Homestead which serves the residents and community organizations in Homestead, West Homestead, Munhall, Whitaker, and surrounding areas.
The volunteer Board of Directors is comprised of 11 to 17 members of diverse skillsets and experiences. Board members are expected to attend monthly board meetings, participate in at least one standing committee and make a personal financial contribution that is meaningful to you. Average commitment is 4-8 hours per month plus attendance at special events (2-3 per year). Board terms are 3 years with the ability to serve 3 consecutive terms.
At this time, we are especially interested in applicants with experience in finance, IT or law.
